As a major perinatal focus in Saxony, doctors at the Clinic for Paediatric and Youth Medicine and the Clinic for Gynaecology work successfully to ensure the survival of premature and newborn babies. Support begins even before childbirth. Women experiencing risk pregnancies receive professional assistance from the Clinic's gynaecologists and midwives right through to birth.
