Klinikum Görtlitz has provided the citizens of our city with outstanding medical care for more than a century.
Patients receive comprehensive, high-quality medical treatment in collaboration with our numerous cooperation partners. Around 1,300 employees focus their efforts on providing for our patients. Whatever may happen, you can be certain to receive the best possible care in our 17 specialist clinics, 13 medical centres and five subsidiaries.
The Clinic is therefore one of the region's largest employers and, as the academic teaching hospital of TU Dresden with numerous trainee positions and its own vocational medical college, feels deeply committed to promoting the interests of young professionals.
As a modern medical services provider, the Clinic has returned positive operating results since 2004, which it uses to invest continuously in improving the buildings and medical equipment. It follows, therefore, that Städtisches Klinikum Görtlitz will continue to provide specialist care in the east of Saxony for many years to come.
In Ulrike Holtzsch, the Clinic has a Managing Director with a keen eye for all key areas of hospital operations. They include looking after the patients, as well as ensuring positive commercial results and high staff satisfaction.
As part of the local community, we are aware of our responsibility to provide sufficient facilities for excellent inpatient care. To accommodate the growing requirements, we intend to focus in future on structural collaboration and cooperation with other hospitals.
