Case managers are the individual contact persons for our patients. They organise the hospital stay from admission to discharge. This way we ensure that our patients can concentrate on their treatment, healing and recuperation. Among other things, the case managers schedule inpatient admission, as well as the examination and surgery appointments. This takes place in close coordination with the GP or referring physician, the wards themselves and the attending physicians and accommodates the individual needs of the patients.
The aim is to make the procedures as transparent as possible for the patients and their families and friends, as well as to provide all important information in good time. Case managers do this by organising, coordinating and acting as contact person for all of the patients' administrative/ organisational questions, while also assisting the medical staff. This is only possible because the case managers possess excellent technical and interpersonal skills that must satisfy the requirements of modern health and social policy standards.
