We focus on the treatment of developmental disorders in the sensory, motor, speech, intellectual and mental areas. The team at the Socio-paediatric Centre also diagnoses and treats chronic and neurological diseases among children, as well as looking after children with disabilities, delayed development and chronic diseases who are exhibiting secondary behavioural problems. Moreover, the Centre is in charge of advising parents and providing assistance in psycho-social integration. In many cases the treatment will be prolonged, so a decisive factor in ensuring its success is the trusting collaboration between patients, parents, practising physicians and us as therapists.
