We are committed to offering our patients the greatest level of safety in treatment and support. To satisfy this high target, we work according to nursing and treatment standards and have defined organisational and treatment procedures in the form of work instructions and manuals.

Every patient is entitled to insist that the hospital does everything in its power to deliver high-quality care. This is why we commission continuous reviews of our procedures, process and structures to identify improvements and to optimise them accordingly. For this purpose, we have introduced a sophisticated quality management system, which we have audited by external specialists on a regular basis. This applies to our hospital as a whole, as well as to the departments and medical centres.

We have obtained external certification since 1999 to confirm the quality of our work. This is why we maintain extremely rigorous quality standards. In recent years, we secured certification according to the American standards of the Joint Commission International. We have been certified according to the quality standard DIN ISO 9001 (ISO 9001 for short) since April 2013. This standard is among the oldest and most frequently applied methods of quality management at global level. Certification according to ISO 9001 requires structured and organised processes and responsibilities within the hospital.

These certificates demonstrate to our patients that the prescribed requirements in terms of treatment procedures, patient safety, documentation and reporting, patient and staff-centricity – in short: the entire process of internal quality management – are adhered to according to the highest standards.

It is important to us that our patients feel comfortable, which is why we ask whether they are satisfied or have criticism. We regularly publish the findings of these surveys (anonymously, of course) within our establishment, so that the clinics and department can see where there is room for improvement and what the patients appreciate especially about their work.
