In keeping with its Mission Statement, Städtisches Klinikum Görlitz gGmbH is committed to providing the highest standard of quality in care and treatment. This quality refers to the levels of structures, processes and outcomes. The quality of treatment is monitored and checked according to the requirements defined in Book V of the German Social Code, and we make every effort to improve continuously.

  • External and internal monitoring mechanisms
  • Application of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
  • Quality improvement projects based on the Clinic's QM Plan

We have developed a Master Plan 2020 and 4 Corporate Targets to ensure that we are well-prepared for the future. A large variety of projects have been launched in cooperation with our employees that are intended to help reach these targets. These projects are organised within interdisciplinary teams at our Clinic. Besides continuous monitoring projects for quality management, there are currently several important projects under way to continue evolving our Clinic and its work, while some others have already been completed. Underlying our strategic planning until 2020 is the determination to continue improving the care and treatment we offer our patients within a modern and well-established specialist care hospital, both in regard to the building structures, as well as our organisation, coordination, service, nursing and therapy.

Project Management controls and monitors these projects, handles project planning with the project managers and prepares the concepts.
